About these terms

These terms apply to work quoted for and carried out by JP Driveways & Landscaping, Tyre House, Fishburn. They sit alongside your written quote, if anything in your quote differs, the quote takes precedence for that job.

Quotes

Quotes are free and given in writing after we have seen the site. A quote sets out the work included and the price for it. Anything not listed in the quote is not included.

If the ground conditions turn out to be materially different from what could reasonably be seen at the visit, we will stop, explain the issue and agree any change in writing with you before continuing.

Booking, deposit and payment

A 20% deposit secures your installation date. Payment terms for the balance are set out in your written quote. We accept card, cash and bank transfer.

Dates are booked in good faith. Weather and ground conditions can affect groundwork and surfacing, and where they do we will contact you and rearrange to the next workable date.

Timescales

A typical driveway takes around 4 days on site. Larger projects, or combined driveway and landscaping work, take longer, and we confirm the expected timescale with you before starting.

Access and site conditions

We ask that vehicles, pots, furniture and anything else you want kept are moved clear of the working area before we arrive, and that we have reasonable access for machinery and deliveries.

Please tell us about anything buried in the working area, drainage runs, cabling, irrigation or soakaways, that would not be visible to us.

Workmanship guarantee

Our workmanship is guaranteed for 5 years from completion. The guarantee covers our own installation work; the full terms of cover are confirmed in writing with your quote.

Natural stone, gravel and paving vary in shade between batches; this is a characteristic of the material rather than a defect.

Insurance

We hold £5 million public liability insurance, in force for every job we carry out.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel or move a booked date, contact us as early as you can and we will do what we can to accommodate it. Where materials have already been ordered or cut specifically for your job, those costs may not be recoverable.

Tell us. Call 07909 773829 or email jackpike1989@icloud.com and we will come and look. Most issues are resolved quickly when they are raised early, and that is far easier for everyone than leaving them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
